Studies consistently show that teens and young adults who travel to Israel return more engaged with their communities and more likely to become leaders and volunteers. On our approved trips, you’ll get more than just a touristy bus ride—you’ll get a full-blown cultural and educational experience.
Maybe you want to enhance your education or your resume, maybe you’re looking for some fun and adventure, maybe you’re hoping to meet other Jews from around the world, or maybe you just need to shake things up a little! Whatever your reason, with options from a few weeks to a few months (or even a full year), most tailored to your specific interests and needs, Israel travel could be the answer.
And thanks to Cincy Journeys—a partnership between Cincinnati’s Jewish Foundation and Jewish Federation—every Jewish Cincinnatian is eligible for grants of up to $11,500 for two trips to Israel, one during high school and the other through age 26.
Israel is one of those "you have to see it to believe it" experiences. And it's one of those "you will never be the same" experiences too. Travel to Israel and you'll learn about the past, find your place in the present, and start shaping the future—Israel's, Jewish Cincinnati's, and your own. Don't miss your chance to be the one saying "you had to be there" instead of the one hearing it.
Being a young adult means lots of questions: where to go next, what to do when you get there, and how to make it all happen. Maybe you're graduating high school and not quite ready for college, maybe you want to enhance your education, or maybe you just need to shake things up a little. Whatever you're questioning, you can probably find some answers in Israel.
